Cultural Festival

I am feeling very good about taking part in the cultural activities at school this term.
Today I picked two cultural groups that I want to be in.

My first choice was Samoan culture and my second choice was Kiwi Can Jam.

I can't wait till  week three for my cultural festival group practise .

Anzac Acrostic poem

Anzac is a day we remember those who lost their lives in the war
New Zealand and Australians we involved in the war
Zooming planes dropping bombs.
Anxious families.
Ceremonies for those who took their lives for there country.

Fun time at the pools.

I had fun with my Mum at the pools. 

I was happy because  it was the first time going to the pools for both of us. We went to the pools in Papakura.

At the pools I  went swimming in the outside pool, it was warm.

After the pools we had lunch. For lunch we had ham sandwiches, biscuits fruit and drinks. My tummy was full from eating too much.

I enjoyed my day out with my Mum because we had lots of fun!

My name is Tewa and I am 9 years old.

I am half Maori and half Pakeha.

I have 4 brothers and 4 sisters. 

I live with my aunty and my 2 cousins.

I like to do nothing at home, because I 

like to chill.

My favourite food is Broccoli and Cauliflower my birthday is on march the 23

The Long Weekend

Saturday 20th of October 2018 me and my brothers went to laser tag.We played 12 games and my youngest brother won most of the games.

After laser tag we went to ice skating and we had a race and my oldest brother won that race and my youngest brother came last.

Then we went to temple bowling.I had two strikes and I won. Then we ate some pizza and we drank some juice.Then we went home and had a good night sleep.

My Role Model

My role model is Mrs Raj.

She is a good Deputy Principal and helps out a lot. She is the best teacher for clubs. She even displayed my artwork in the corridor.
